Hey interwebs, now that I have a blog set up on my site, I should probably start using it more hey? This Valentines day I spent it shooting the lovely aussie duo that is, The Veronicas on their Australian 'Sanctified Tour'. If you haven't heard of these awesome ladies, definitely check them out. They were huge in the 00's and now they are back and kicking butt. This was actually my first time photographing them and seeing them live, pretty cool way of spending valentines. I was shooting this show on behalf of aussie music publication, AMNplify. So had your standard media restriction. First 3 songs, no flash, from the photo pit. Photographically speaking the lighting was pretty tough to shoot. Lots of backlight and smoke, but it looked fucking sick! In the end it's about the performance not us photographers haha. But I was pretty happy with how my shots turned out. Here are a few of my favourites from the night. Safe to say, I would definitely love to tour with The Veronicas on a more official basis at some stage down the track.
